Windows Users:
If the video does not seem to be playing smoothly, then your network connection may be to slow (or the server could be overloaded). In which case you may want to download the file first, and then view it in a mpg/avi file player (local to your machine vs. over the internet).
To do this right-mouse click on the Media Player screen (or the text "<Video Name> MPG (or AVI) Link") and select "Save As" or "Save Target As". Save the file on your hard drive, then open it in a video player (i.e. "Windows Media Player" and/or "QuickTime Player")
| To download and install Windows Media Player for Windows 98/2000 click here (it's free). For Windows XP click here. | |
| To download and install QuickTime Player (any Windows/Mac platform) click here (it's free). |
You need to download the video file and then play it in a mpg/avi file player (i.e. QuickTime Player).
| Use the link above to download/install QuickTime Player if you do not already have it. | |
| To save the mpg/avi file local to your machine: Click on the "<Video Name> MPG (orAVI) Link" in the previous window. Hopefully (I'm not a MAC user) it asks you to "Save File" or something equivalent. Save the file to your hard drive, and then open it in QuickTime. |
